Working to Make Green Jobs Work for Economy
Maryland’s economy is picking itself back up with the help of new “green” jobs. New manufacturing opportunities in the state are becoming available, making electric motors and other new energy technology products. Clean Skies News explores whether high labor and rising energy costs will allow such jobs to stay in America, or whether those manufacturing plants will close up shop and head elsewhere once the technology matures and is available overseas – where labor costs are lower.
